     The sophistication of technology has an impact on all sectors, one of which is for land transportation drivers, the innovation of Intelligent Traffic System (ITS) is a combination of information technology systems with road users and transportation. In order to regulate traffic flow, Intelligent Traffic System (ITS) with its devices is able to record the flow and can display the speed limit of a passing vehicle. But, when we use the Intelligent Traffic System (ITS) it will spend a lot of money so that the researcher has an innovation there is an alternative cheaper than. Using sensor ultrasonic will be a fairly cheap alternative, ultrasonic sensors can generally identify the presence of an object. For example, when in a park slot there is an ultrasonic sensor on top of the car to find out the location of a car.

   


    This paper is actually proposed about how fast the vehicles or simply measure the speed of it in order to provide the Intelligent Traffic System (ITS) data about the accurate of speed. With ultrasonic sensors can also function to measure traffic conditions in a place, with the installation of sensors at a predetermined distance the sensor will work as follows the first and second sensors will identify the speed by dividing the Distance and Time of the two sensor inputs. So it requires many sensors that will later be installed on each road. The installation of many sensors will produce effective results and will later be installed above.

    The stages in this device are of course the first, namely the HR-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor to receive the input signal, the ultrasonic sensor works by reflecting ultrasonic waves where in this device the sensor can measure the distance between the sensor and the object and the sensor is installed vertically, then it will be forwarded to the Arduino Uno for signal processing. Arduino Uno will process the signal that has been acquired by the ultrasonic sensor which then after being processed the data will be forwarded to the final stage, namely the Computer display.
